Primary Responsibility:
Implement and maintain information security policies, procedures and protocols for the Company as set forth by Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
Daily review of reports and activity related to IDS/IPS, SIEM and email filtering systems.
Daily review of security related reports from various internal systems/software.
Implement and enforce security standards, processes and procedures and guidelines for the enterprise. Provide input for the bank's information systems and data security program, patch management program and other information security-related initiatives.
Monitor and ensure compliance with industry and government rules and regulations regarding information and systems security.
Create documentation as necessary for security related events for dissemination to upper management.
Assess and communicate IT-related security risks. Perform periodic formalized/documented risk assessments.
Monitor compliance of information security procedures and policies and reports exceptions to manager.
Develop and maintain a management information reporting framework to communicate the overall state of the bank's Information Security Program to management and the ISSC.
Assist with Business Continuity Planning and Testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent education and experience.
Seven years of demonstrable experience with IT Security, IT infrastructure or IT administration duties with progressive responsibilities, preferably in a financial institution.
Strong understanding of information security analysis and applying information security, risk management and privacy practices.
Strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated proficiency of compliance frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, and NIST.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in making presentations to executive and/or senior management.
Ability to meet deadlines while working independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
